CPDmatch is a not-for-profit environmental and social website on which organisations advertise education relating to the triple planetary crisis of climate change, pollution and loss of biodiversity along with their impacts on human health and healthcare systems. We aim for all healthcare professionals and those working in supplier industries to become knowledgeable and confident to communicate about the climate and environmental emergency and inspire others to act.

CPDmatch sponsors and supporters
CPDmatch exists because we're supported by amazing organisations and people who share our vision. We strongly believe in collaboration as for the climate and environmental emergency, we all cross the line together or none of us cross it at all.
Why should individuals use CPDmatch?
Because finding climate change and sustainability education can be difficult and leads to missed opportunities or unnecessary travel. CPDmatch solves this problem by categorising events and providing filters for location, timing and cost ensuring only relevant CPD is displayed. Searches can be saved and notifications received for new events whilst the virtual on-demand function shows what is available to access immediately.

Why should providers of sustainability education use CPDmatch?
Because CPDmatch is free-to-use and brings together the most relevant, accessible and affordable climate and environmental education and training in one place. Our site is visited by healthcare professionals, their employers and those who work within suppliers industries ensuring the education listed is visible to the whole global healthcare value chain. CPDmatch is an additional marketing channel and we signpost interested individuals to your own website. Education does not need external accreditation as we expect our visitors to make decisions based upon advertised content.

Our ethos
The 4 Es have been the driving force behind CPDmatch since the beginning: Education, Environment, Equality and Economy.
CPDmatch and the Global Goals
The world faces big challenges with poverty, hunger, inequality and climate change being some of the issues we need to urgently address. Big challenges need bold actions to overcome and that's where the Global Goals come in. They are a plan agreed by all world leaders to build a greener, fairer, better world by 2030 and we all have a role in delivering. CPDmatch supports the Global Goals by enabling healthcare professionals regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, social background and physical ability find the education they need to professionally develop in areas relating to the triple planetary crisis and understand its impact on healthcare systems.

Climate and environmental literacy
The climate and environmental emergency is a health emergency and healthcare systems will become increasingly strained and vulnerable as we witnessed during Covid-19. For the millions of healthcare professionals to be confident in communicating these facts and inspire others, they must first be climate and environmentally literate and to become literate, they must be able to easily find and undertake the right education.

How we keep CPDmatch sustainable
CPDmatch has been developed by SDG4, a not-for-profit environmental and social enterprise. We collaborate with organisations who share our vision, working tirelessly to curate content so the healthcare industry can find the education required to stimulate positive actions and change. If you find CPDmatch useful, please consider donating so we can develop the site to its full potential.

What is our purpose?
To proactively match the climate change, net zero and sustainability needs of those working in the healthcare value chain to relevant, accessible and affordable education; ensuring staff do not miss opportunities to professionally develop in these critical areas.
Why CPDmatch?
Because the education to help the global healthcare value chain mitigate, adapt and provide the highest quality of sustainable healthcare should be equally accessible to all irrespective of profession, experience or country of practice.
