Who is CPDmatch?
I am a Consultant in Critical Care Medicine, Physician Environmentalist, NHS England Clinical Entrepreneur, Royal College of Anaesthetists CPD Assessor and Co-founder of Healthcare Ocean. I am passionate about equality and sustainability; building CPDmatch to help all those working in healthcare, regardless of profession, experience, or country of practice, find and undertake the education they need.
CPDmatch supports the Global Goals
We all know that we face big challenges in today’s world: poverty, hunger, inequality and climate change are just some of the issues we need to address urgently. Big challenges need bold action to overcome them, and that is where the Global Goals come in. They are a plan agreed to by all world leaders to build a greener, fairer, better world by 2030, and we all have a role in achieving them. CPDmatch supports the Global Goals, promoting and enabling healthcare professionals from all around the world to find and take free and low-cost online courses. We believe all healthcare professionals are equal regardless of their gender, race, sexual orientation, social background and physical abilities and deserve equal access to high-quality education and to be able to develop professionally.

Why should healthcare professionals use CPDmatch?
Because finding the right education is difficult and leads to missed opportunities, pre-appraisal ‘panic booking’ and unnecessary travel. CPDmatch solves this problem by categorising events and providing filters for location, timing and cost ensuring only relevant CPD is displayed. Searches can be saved and notifications received for new events providing ample time to book leave or organise shifts.
Why should providers of healthcare education use CPDmatch?
CPDmatch is free to use for most organiations whilst those providing education in an area in which they also sell products are charged a listing fee. Events do not need formal accreditation as we expect our visitors to make decisions based upon advertised content. No alterations to your existing platform is required as we 'signpost' healthcare staff to your own site to view details and book.
