Often consultants are struggling with the pressure of an increasing demand and an under-resourced department. It is difficult to start negotiating with managers and commissioners and justify the need for an increase in medical staff.
This module, consisting of 10 assessment questions, is a guide to developing the basics of how to prepare and gather information towards building a business case for a new colleague. This module gives practical information on how to gather data and negotiate locally with managers. This information then can be fed into a local template at your hospital for the business case. In addition, this module also references the theme of medical engagement and how its improvement could be critical to improving performance.
Once you complete the resource - and achieve the minimum pass rate of 60% - you'll be awarded with a downloadable one hour CPD Certificate, which you can print or upload to your CPD Portfolio.
