This summer, the temperature is heating up — and so is HPHC’s educational Climate Convos series. Explore how climate change is increasing the frequency and severity of temperature extremes in Minnesota, along with what this means for patient care. You’ll hear from health professionals within HPHC’s community who are already thinking about and responding to extreme heat from a health and patient care perspective, including: Family Medicine Resident, Naas Mergoum, MD, PharmD; Family Medicine Resident, Katie Messelt, DO; and Physical Therapist, Beth Stegora, PT, DPT, a member of Hennepin County's Heat Resiliency Workgroup. Plus, learn how health professionals like you are advocating for policies that can better protect vulnerable populations from extreme heat.
