Insights from an Environmental Scan & Implementation of Heat Mitigation Solutions
Low-Carbon Heat-Health Solutions in Care Settings (Heat Health) is a multi-year, national initiative that explores how indoor heat affects the health of patients, residents, and healthcare workers, and how care environments can be adapted to be more resilient to extreme heat.
Description
The Heat Health team spent this past summer implementing low-cost, low-carbon heat mitigation solutions across care settings in British Columbia, Ontario, and Nova Scotia. Join our upcoming webinar to hear about the lessons learned from this real-world implementation and from an environmental scan of practical interventions. The webinar will be delivered in English, with Zoom translated captions available in French.
This project was made possible through a financial contribution from Health Canada.
