Aotearoa New Zealand’s Climate Change Adaptation Act: Building a Durable Future
Description
This report seeks to provide recommendations which can be adapted to the new policy environment as it evolves.
In particular, the Natural and Built Environment Act and Spatial Planning Act included legislative provisions designed to support effective climate change adaptation.
In this report, where relevant, we have recommended how the RMA could be amended to incorporate (and where necessary strengthen) such provisions.
