Building Climate-Resilient Social Care
Description
Building Climate-Resilient Social Care: Guidance for Practitioners is a practical resource designed to help social care professionals integrate climate adaptation into care planning and service delivery.
It is intended for social care practitioners, including Integration Joint Boards (IJBs), and partner organisations involved in care planning and delivery, helping ensure continuity of care, protect wellbeing and strengthen community resilience in a changing climate.
Developed through the Adaptation Scotland programme in collaboration with sector stakeholders, the guidance supports teams to identify and manage climate-related hazards such as heatwaves, flooding, storms and cold weather.
