Description

The European Environment Agency (EEA) and the European Space Agency (ESA) are pleased to invite you to save the date for the second conference on earth observation for monitoring, reporting and verification of carbon removals.

This conference will focus on the contribution of EO to the implementation of the EU Land Use, Land Use Change and Forestry (LULUCF) Regulation, the Carbon Removal and Carbon Farming (CRCF) Regulation and related initiatives in carbon markets.

The event will bring together experts from across disciplines — scientific research, national GHG inventories, policy, and the private sector — to share insights, innovations, and experiences that support robust MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification) systems for carbon removals in the EU.
