Quality is one of the biggest environmental issues to come out of capitalism. The production of clothing accounts for 10% of carbon emissions, not to mention the fact that impulsive fashion decisions and fast-fashion castoffs are filling up landfills.

Our new film The Shitthropocene is a journey from the cellular-level origins of our lack of impulse control to the ways our central nervous systems have been hacked in the name of “more”. It’s also about how we might be able to solve the problems we created and how we might begin to save ourselves from ourselves.
