Bioneers Indigeneity Program Report

Since our inception, Bioneers has been fundamentally shaped and guided by Indigenous knowledge, worldviews, participants, and partners. The Native-led Indigeneity Program promotes Indigenous approaches to solving Earth’s most pressing environmental and social crises while weaving networks and partnerships among all peoples.

We celebrated another banner year for the Indigeneity Program, elevating Indigenous voices and solutions, bringing youth and communities together, and producing Indigenous-focused content accessible to all people through our original curriculum and media. In this spirit, we are pleased to share our accomplishments with you in our 2025 Indigeneity Annual Report. From the Indigenous Rights of Nature initiative to providing Native youth with scholarships to attend the conference, original media, and resources for allies, nothing quite compares to the Indigeneity Program.

Indigenous perspectives rooted in values for relationship and reciprocity are critical to leading the world forward in this time of turmoil. Indigenous knowledge passed down for generations and shared with consent via the Bioneers platform has contributed to re-indigenizing our food systems, forms of governance, cultivating well-being, and much more.
