Description

Climate Change will have profound impacts across the UK. By addressing the root causes of vulnerability and inequality, we can better prepare for these changes while delivering benefits for society. This approach is at the heart of the MACC Hub. Attending the conference will give you the opportunity to learn more about adaptation action taking place around the UK through the Hub, and to share your insights to help shape its future activities.

The conference is being organised by the Scotland spoke of the MACC Hub, led by Scottish charity Verture, and Glasgow University.

Why join us:

  • Explore Transformational Adaptation in practice with a focus on the root causes of vulnerability and justice-oriented approaches
  • Examine how adaptation action aligns with key national and regional policy priorities
  • Join interactive workshops to explore real-world challenges and solutions for system-wide resilience
  • Discover and shape practical outputs coming from the MACC Hub’s work in Scotland and across the UK
  • Connect and collaborate with adaptation experts and practitioners from across sectors and regions and understand how the MACC Hub can support your work

Please note: this event is in-person at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh
