Damien Newman, after a career as a psychologist in mental health services became involved in gardening for health over 15 years ago. As Thrives education and consultancy manager he has developed 3 separate higher education curriculums within the subject and supported countless organisations from Cumbria to the Central African Republic to establish gardens for health.

Thrive is the Gardening for health charity supporting hundreds of people with identified health needs in our 3 garden centres. Training hundreds to do the same and supporting tens of thousands each year through our information service to use gardening for health within their own lives.
