Across the globe, young people are stepping up to tackle climate and health challenges in their communities. They are leading initiatives ranging from improving air quality, to reducing waste, promoting healthier lifestyles, strengthening climate resilience, advancing climate justice, conducting research, influencing policy, and mobilizing local action.

International Youth Day presents an opportunity to celebrate the diverse ways young people are contributing to such climate and health actions.

This International Youth Day, the Youth Climate and Health Network (YCHN), along with the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations(IFMSA), Young World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA) are co-organizing the virtual event, “Local Solutions, Global Impact: Youth Climate and Health Fest” to highlight youth-led initiatives from across the world. regions.
