As extreme weather events become more frequent and intense, their impacts on children extend beyond physical safety to include significant effects on mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Participants will learn to recognize common impacts of environmental stress in children and adolescents, and gain practical, evidence-informed strategies to support coping, resilience, and recovery.

Grounded in psychological science and real-world examples, this session will equip health professionals with tools to better understand and support young people in the face of a changing environment.
