Description

Measuring the impact of anchor organisations in their local communities is crucial for benchmarking existing contributions, identifying areas for improvement, and monitoring the effectiveness of new anchor initiatives. It’s also essential for securing buy-in and ongoing investment into anchor work - especially at a time of limited resources and competing priorities.

However we also know that capturing this data and making sense of it in a systematic way is a key challenge for anchors and doesn’t happen overnight.

In this event, we explore two examples of how organisations from different sectors are addressing this challenge by developing dashboards which can inform anchor work and showcase impact:

  • We’ll hear from Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care System (ICS) on how they’ve embedded the UCL Anchor Framework in anchor dashboards now being used by NHS Trusts across their local system, as well as the Integrated Care Board.
  • We’ll hear from the team that’s been developing the Civic Impact Dashboard - a data dashboard tool to support staff working across Higher Education to better understand, evaluate and showcase their institution’s civic contributions.

Join us to discover how dashboards can bring clarity to complex data, foster transparency and accountability with stakeholders, and ultimately help anchors tell the story of their contributions, whilst maximising the impact of new anchor initiatives.

Whether you’re just getting started or further along in your anchor journey, this session will offer valuable learning and practical ideas for measuring the impact of your anchor work in meaningful and locally relevant ways.
