NAW is an advance adult & paediatric difficult airway management course suitable for all grades of anaesthetists, nurses/ODPs and other specialties like A&E, Intensive Care Respiratory Physicians who want to learn advance airway techniques. NAW is DAS approved and is awarded CPD by the RCoA.

2-DAY NAW - 9-10 Oct 2024

  • Delegates are taught extensive hands-on practical skills. 
  • Each participating doctor will perform Flexible Bronchoscopic Intubation (FBI) on an anaesthetised patient, under supervision 
  • Update DAS/APA/OAA difficult airway guidelines 
  • ATI including VL & VAFI on a manikin 
  • FB on manikin, including use of Aintree catheter and 2ndgeneration SAD etc 
  • Videolaryngoscopes and other difficult airway management devices 
  • FONA - Surgical & Needle
  • HFNO

  • Emergency Tracheostomy & Laryngectomy Management

  • Ultrasound gastric & neck
