Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is the fourth leading cause of death in the world, and pharmacists have the expertise to help patients manage their chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. A good understanding of the disease state, updated knowledge of therapies, and current guidelines are all necessary to maximise the effects of therapy.
