Greener Practice is delighted to welcome the authors of Education for Sustainable Healthcare: Stories, Strategies, and Solutions.

The idea for Education for Sustainable Healthcare: Stories, Strategies, and Solutions at the MSC ESH Alliance emerged from discussions within the Medical Schools Council (MSC) Education for Sustainable Healthcare Alliance (ESHA) in advance of the 2025 Annual Meeting. We recognized a growing need, not only to showcase the wealth of activity around the topic of Sustainable Healthcare already taking place across UK medical schools, but also to create an accessible way for educators to learn from one another.

At its heart, the book is a community-driven project—a way of capturing the lived experiences of educators embedding sustainability into medical curricula, of sharing solutions to challenges and celebrating successes and of strengthening a shared sense of purpose. With nearly a thousand downloads in its first three months, we are delighted to be reaching audiences beyond expectations.
