Making the most of stage 2 and 3 training

This online career event, which is free for members, is designed for anaesthetists at stages 2 and 3 (ST4-ST7) in their training. 

The event is focused on providing valuable information to help you make informed career choices and to advance your career path. In addition, the importance of your own wellbeing and getting the work/life balance right will be highlighted.

The day will be divided into two parts, the morning session will be an introduction to stage 2 and the afternoon session will look at stage 3, post Final FRCA. You have the option to attend all day, or just the session that is most relevant to you. 

Introduction to stage 2

• Gain valuable insight into various clinical sub-specialties including cardiothoracic anaesthesia, neuroanaesthesia, pain medicine and paediatrics
• Guidance on wellbeing and top tips when preparing for the Final FRCA.

After the Final FRCA: Stage 3 and beyond

• Building your portfolio and CV, getting the job you want
• Developing your career - leadership and educational opportunities
• First day in a consultant post, everything you need to know
• Wellbeing.

Where permitted, talks will be recorded and made available to delegates post event. Once registered you will have access to the recorded material for up to six months after the live event. Viewing of the recording will carry the same number of CPD points.
