Description

Guidance for organisations on climate risk assessment and adaptation action planning.

Use this guidance to:

  • conduct climate risk assessments in early preparation for the fifth round of the Adaptation Reporting Power (ARP5)
  • update current or previous climate risk assessments

This is a summary of the guidance that was provided to reporting organisations for the fourth round of ARP (ARP4).

Reporting for ARP4 closed on 31 December 2024. However, you can still send reports or assessments at any time, by emailing [email protected].

Any report you submit in-between official rounds of reporting will be used to gather evidence on the UK’s resilience to climate impacts to support ongoing government policy development.

Reporting runs in a 5-year cycle, following a consultation on the next strategy for reporting. Reporting in round 5 is anticipated to start in late 2026 and run until late 2029.
