Green Gastroenterology Challenge Showcase 2026

The Green Gastroenterology Specialty Challenge, sponsored by Micro-Tech UK and delivered in partnership with the British Society of Gastroenterology, is a clinical leadership and engagement programme for healthcare organisations that want to improve the sustainability of their services.

Six teams across the UK have worked with the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare (CSH) to develop, run and measure projects that add sustainable value. Each team has considered the triple bottom line of sustainable value: reducing environmental harm, reducing financial waste, and adding clinical and social value.
