Description

It seems like every day there are new reports about plastic polluting our world, from oceans and rivers to microplastics contaminating our own bodies. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the issue and not know where to start doing something about it. That’s why we’re going back to the basics to explore the real causes of plastic pollution, how plastic affects our health and communities, and simple actions you can take to help solve the problem.

This conversation is suitable for beginners. Joining the discussion were Kristy Drutman, Brown Girl GreenRhonda Keyser, Program & Policy Director, Cafeteria Culture; and Dana Zhaxylykova, Microplastics Researcher. The webinar was moderated by Jack Dalton, The Kid Conservationist.

This webinar featured live Spanish interpretation thanks to Alejandra Warren, Co-Founder & Executive Director, Plastic Free Future.
