Description

Our latest webinar Endocrine disruptors and women’s health focused on the threat that endocrine disrupting chemicals pose to women’s reproductive health. A recording of the webinar is now available.

Moderated by Julianna Angelova, HEAL’s EU Research Project Coordinator, the session on 20 November featured FREIA researchers, Majorie van Duursen and Virissa Lenters. They shared recent FREIA project findings on EDCs and female reproductive toxicity and EU citizens’ attitudes towards endocrine disruptors and ways to reduce exposure. The research findings were accompanied by actionable recommendations to increase public awareness, reduce exposure to chemicals/EDCs, and improve health.

Featured speakers

  • Prof. Dr. Majorie van Duursen, Professor of Environmental Health and Toxicology, VU Amsterdam and FREIA project coordinator
  • Dr. Virissa Lenters. Assistant Professor of Environmental Epidemiology, VU Amsterdam
