How does my organisation subscribe and allocate places on The Climate Path?
First, make sure your organisation is registered on CPDmatch and, if not, please register - it's free:
- See the FAQ - How do I register to use CPDmatch?
Please note: The CPDmatch account holder's email address cannot be 'invited' to become a member The Climate Path. We therefore recommend the account holder uses a generic organisation email address (e.g. info@) whenever possible. This prevents them being excluded as an individual from the education found on the pathways.
To commence a subscription, log into your account and click the Climate Path link on the left hand side of your Dashboard:
- Use the drop down menu to choose the number of learners you would like to access The Climate Path and click Subscribe Now.
- Choose the payment option and click Pay and Subscribe. If an acceptable method of payment is not available or you would like to request an invoice, please contact us.
When you next visit your Dashboard, you will see 4 additional options on the Climate Path page:
- Overview - a summary of progress for those in your organisation who are on The Climate Path.
- Members - the page from which you can invite individuals via email to join The Climate Path, monitor progress and unsubscribe members who are no longer part of your organisation. You can upload a comma-separated (CSV) file to invite multiple individuals. If an invite email is blocked by a firewall, you can copy the invite URL and send through an alternative communication channel.
- Content - allows you to view the education which your subscribed members are undertaking along with a downloadable pdf which explains the background and learning objectives. This pdf can be downloaded and shared.
- Subscription - where you can update your payment method, view invoices, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription.
We are aware that some email servers may filter out email traffic from CPDmatch. If you experience a problem, please contact your IT department or the team here at CPDmatch.
When you first visit The Climate Path page after subscribing, you will be asked to enter an Organisational Statement of Intent. We advise you include some information on why your organisation is committed to improving climate and environmental literacy across your workforce.
You do not need to enter this information immediately and it can be edited any time in your account Settings. The statement is only visible to subscribed members so they fully understanding why you have taken out a subscription. This can be really motivating for those undertaking the education.
We advise at this point that you review the information we hold for your organisation in your Account Settings including Description of your organisation for the Provider Directory. It is this information which the public (and search engines) see so please ensure it reflects your organisation's ethos and environmental ambition.
We recommend you share or signpost invited members to the downloadable background and learning objectives pdf which can be found at the top of The Climate Path content page. This will ensure they understand why the education is important.
On completion of The Climate Path, your subscribed members will be asked to provide feedback on the content, a final reflection and to make a pledge. You will (eventually - feature in development) have access to this information for assurance and reporting.
We want this experience to be as positive and beneficial as possible to both your organisation and subscribed members. Please reach out to us anytime via our contacts page if you need any advice or support.
