Its Environmental Sustainability Strategy sets ambitions to become net zero for Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2035 and Scope 3 emissions by 2045, alongside wider nature-positive goals.
HCA UK is working to reduce its environmental impact through investment in more sustainable buildings and infrastructure, reducing emissions from anaesthetic gases, improving waste segregation and resource efficiency, developing circular economy approaches, responsible water stewardship and supporting biodiversity. It is also working with suppliers to reduce supply-chain emissions and improve the quality of sustainability data.
