​​Prof Richard Hixson is a Consultant in Anaesthesia, Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Exeter, designer of the online climate and environmental education platform CPDmatch and co-founder of Healthcare Ocean. Richard’s sustainability interests include healthcare-associated maritime logistics; materials and waste stream optimisation; improving climate and environmental literacy across the full healthcare value chain and finding novel ways of communicating about ocean health with the public.​​

​Emil is an experienced full-stack developer who spent several years in a fast-paced agency delivering for major UK brands, as well as, later, building the web platforms behind DFS and Sofology. He now leads the technical build of CPDmatch, driven by a belief that well-made technology can meaningfully widen access to climate and environmental education.​

​Amanda Yuen is a freelance designer and creator working across design, content and social media. She began her career in content creation at Groupon Hong Kong and now works with OrientalMart UK alongside CPDmatch, where she shapes how the platform looks, feels and communicates—bringing colour, clarity and a sense of craft to everything users see.​

​​Dr Paul Southall is a Consultant Anaesthetist, Sustainability Lead and Lead Environmental Advisor to the Royal College of Anaesthetists, and Chair of its Environmental Sustainability Committee. He has led and contributed to national and international consensus work on sustainable anaesthesia, with particular interests in translating evidence into practical clinical change, professional standards and healthcare policy.​

​​Dr Musaab Ahmed is an Academic Clinical Fellow in Respiratory and Intensive Care Medicine in the North West of England. With previous experience as a representative and chairperson of a Medical Student Society and Student Representative Council in Malaysia, he has a longstanding interest in advocacy and collaborative leadership. Through CPDmatch, he hopes to contribute to initiatives that promote environmental sustainability across healthcare and encourage practical, evidence-informed changes in clinical practice.​

Dr Evie Rothwell is an Anaesthetic Trainee working in Bristol, England with a longstanding interest in sustainability. She is the Director of Greener Healthcare and Sustainability Project (GHASP) - a not-for-profit organisation that supports its members to make sustainable change in their workplaces by hosting educational talks, conferences and supporting Sustainable Quality Improvement. She is passionate about climate communication, and believes that people are our best resource in tackling the climate, environmental and biodiversity crises we face.
