Description

How can permaculture help us nurture healthier, more creative, and more resilient people?

In this interactive webinar, we’ll explore how permaculture’s ethics and design principles can inspire fresh approaches to both education and healthcare.

Together we’ll look at how learning from nature’s patterns supports focus, play, and curiosity in children and adults, whilst also helping practitioners care for their own wellbeing and that of their learners, clients or patients.

With 1 in 6 young people aged 5 to 16 likely to experience anxiety, depression and other mental health conditions, how can we equip them for the modern world we now face? How can we create a culture in our practice which connects people with themselves, each other, and the natural world?

We’ll discuss how simple, nature-based design – from a window box to a peace garden – can transform the spaces where we learn, teach, and heal. You’ll hear stories and examples of how outdoor learning, sensory gardens, and nature connection can restore energy, improve mental health, and rekindle a sense of hope and purpose.

This webinar is for practitioners and educators    such as teachers, forest school leaders, parents, therapists, counsellors, and health professionals – who want to explore how permaculture can bring more balance, creativity, and joy into their work and communities.

Come ready to share ideas, ask questions, and be inspired by what’s possible when we design for connection – with nature, with others, and with ourselves.
