Ocean Studies Board and Polar Research Board Joint Meeting

This meeting will include:

Polar Ocean Observing Systems: This session will discuss existing observing efforts, advances in observing technologies and approaches, challenges, and opportunities to strengthen coordination and sustained observations to better understand and respond to changes in these regions.

El Niño and the Polar Oceans: This session will focus on effects of El Niño on teleconnections between the polar regions and global system as well as impacts on Arctic and Antarctic marine ecosystems.

International Activities and Early Career Researcher Engagement: This session will include early career perspectives on involvement in international activities.
