Global AMR Innovators Conference

Global AMR Innovators Conference (GAMRIC), an event connecting researchers, academics, and industry professionals from around the world to share insights about product development to address antimicrobial resistance (AMR). This science-focused meeting will feature plenaries, panels, and posters across the pillars of treatments, preventatives, and diagnostics.

GAMRIC started out as a series of meetings integrated into the annual programme of the joint ESCMID-ASM conference on drug development to meet the challenge of AMR in 2016, and the last meeting was held in 2024.

Now standing on its own and with a new name, the Global AMR Innovators Conference or GAMRIC, conceived from the need to explicitly recognise the fight against AMR as global in nature as well as the broad support from international societies and organisations all over the world.

GAMRIC is a 3-day conference held every September/October in different international locations.

The inaugural GAMRIC conference took place from 1 - 3 October 2025 in London.

Join us for the second edition of GAMRIC from 22 - 24 September 2026 in the Lisbon Marriot Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal.
