The session will describe the risks and opportunities faced when meeting the challenges posed by water and wastewater pathogens, including:
- Education and training for diverse professional groups
- Developing a clinically informed water safety group
- Embedding water safe practices in daily work for clinical and non-clinical staff
- Working with capital teams on new projects involving hot and cold water systems
- Prioritising water safety whilst working within governance structures and guidance
- Building a team of diverse professionals who feel psychologically safe to change practice using innovation and collaboration
