Climate Conversations: Buildings
Join us for a conversation on energy efficiency and decarbonization for large buildings in the US.
Description
The construction, operation, and maintenance of buildings accounts for around 40 percent of U.S. energy demand and associated greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Reducing building energy use and emissions at scale will require a range of strategies, including energy efficiency, building electrification, automated advanced energy management, and on-site renewable energy. Speakers will discuss the opportunities and challenges of decarbonizing large commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings, and the technologies, strategies, and tools needed to accelerate progress.
