With the increasing frequency and severity of extreme weather events, including severe storms and hurricanes that lead to significant flooding, it has never been more important to engage in discussions around equitable, community-centered solutions and preparedness.

This session will shed light on the unequal impacts of extreme weather, drawing upon Hurricane Katrina as an example, and present practical approaches to enhance preparedness efforts among patients and community members.

We'll be joined by Dr. Maurice Sholas, the Founder of Cingulum Health and Specialist in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine, along with Dr. Armen Henderson, a distinguished 2021 CHEF Fellow, Executive Director of Dade County Street Response, and Secretary on the Board of Directors for Florida Clinicians for Climate Action.

This event will include a Q&A portion, so please come prepared with questions for our speaker. We hope you can join this important webinar!
