Climate change has already made the United States poorer

Climate change has already begun altering weather around the world. Altering the weather is likely to affect the economy. Indeed, I show that climate change has already reduced United States income by making the country warmer. Because counties trade with each other, each U.S. county has been affected by how climate change altered temperatures throughout the United States, not just how it altered temperature locally. Statistical agencies could update these calculations annually.
